Maxi Winners – Overall and Team

The next Maxi is planned for October 16th 2022 (date to be confirmed) on a map called Butterfly Jim, near Daylesford.
The Maxi is a score orienteering event. Participants can enter either of the 90 minute or the 3-hour categories; individually or in teams of 2 to 5 members. The aim is to visit as many controls as possible in the given time.
The Nillumbik Emus club puts on this event each year. This is a mass start event which was originally a 3 hours score event but is now being offered in the shorter 90 minute .
Catering is provided at the end of the event. Soup/bread and tea, coffee & milo, cake and fruit, are included in the entry.
This year’s event was run on the club’s Muckleford Diggings map near Maldon on April 25th, 2021. It also included a 6 hour team event for the first time.
