Last Friday, the Victorian Primary School Champs were held at Brimbank Park. It was great to see many NE members volunteering Anna Greenhalgh, Ron Frederick, Helen and Rob Edmonds, Peter Maloney, Carolyn and Matt Layton put in a big effort to ensure a very successful day.

Club members competing included Eofy Greenhan and Opus Greenhan 2nd, Josh Layton 2nd and Ben Greenhalgh 4th. Also taking part were prospective members, Ron Frederick’s grandson, Xavier, and youngsters Nina and Patrick Morgan.

Helen and Rob ran a corporate event for the Good Sport Almighty on our updated Yarra Bend map. The start was from Coffee Supreme in Abbotsford. Over 30 very keen participants tackled the 90 minute score course. Their was a great vibe and the proprietors put on a healthy spread with great coffee.

Victorian Sprint Champs was run at Tarneit College. Several NE members took part.

Congratulations and best wishes to Matt Layton on his selection in the Australian team to compete in the Oceania Champs in NZ in late January.
